17.02.07 - Castle View Personnel Sponsor Local Snowman Rally Competitor
Car number 76 starting on Inverness High Street sponsored by Castle View Personnel.
Castle View Personnel continued their involvement in one of the Highlands major sporting events by once again sponsoring local businessman Terry Nicholson in the Snowman Rally. As in last year's event, Terry was guided through the five challenging stages by navigator CVP's David Joel.
Starting at car number 76, the pair progressed steadily through the field and following the first three stages had moved into the top sixty from an initial start list of 109. As with most entrants they found the 14.5 mile fourth stage extremely challenging but managed to avoid several other casualties en route to safely reach the finish line. The fifth and final stage was by far the duo's best performance and some aggressive driving saw them leapfrog into a finishing position of 46th.
Castle View Personnel's Managing Director Stewart McCallum commented after the race 'we were once again delighted to be involved with such a prestigious and well supported event. I am delighted with the performance of the car and look forward to continuing our sponsorship agreement in future'.
